22 rebuild transom question /1986

I have started my tearout .Stringers look great but there are a couple of spots on the top of transom.Is this transom wood or solid foam? help!!

no transom is solid foam. So newer boats and are "No wood" construction, and composite even at the transom. But most glass over wood, likely 3 inch at the transom
