Listing while underway
«

I have a 1975 Auquasport 19-6 CC with a Yamaha 150. When she sits in the water she is fine, but underway she lists a little to the starboard side. It feels solid in and out of chop...I am hoping it is not a stringer problem. The skeg on the motor is half gone and needs to be repaired and there is the adjustment on the bottom of the motor for torgue that is turned. Does anyone have nay ideas or further questions that could help me figure this out?
Thanks
Bobby

I posted some pics under the members gallery/bdeskins but I do not have any of it yet in the water. It does not list when it is sitting in the water. It does seem to correct itself if I stand on the other side while underway.

I have this problem on my 222 flatback with a 200. I can impact it a little through motor trim and jackplate adjustments, but cannot make it go away completely without using my tabs. Basically, its the torque of the prop pulling the flat hull over. A little port bow down on the trim tabs solves the problem.

I have a 86 170 osprey that lists also. I have transom mounted live wells and assume one is mounted a little lower than the other, acting like trim tabs. It does not matter were you stand in the boat or how you trim the motor. Only does it while under way.

170's are tender boats where listing is concerned. Minor weight asymmetry's the likely culprit. Trim tab correction seems to be the norm. Miguel put tabs on his and is happy with the results. Seems odd to hear of a listing problem with a FB especially if she's on her marks at rest.
