Hope you guys don't kill me...I just picked up a 17' Mako...

I have been looking and looking for a 17' cc used rig.  I found this site...and love it...great info and since growing up fished a 20ccp(dads) I figured I would start doing research on the 17 aquasport....asked many questions here...learned alot of stuff.  I know you can't go wrong with either Aquasport or Mako....a local guy had th eperfect boat for my needs...with no motor...it happened to be a 1976 17' Mako.  His motor seized...ordered a new one...but decided on a new boat instead so he sold this to me for a deal of $1,000.  SO I have a 115 etec ordered up for her...again hope you guys let me still post here:)

Thanks, the hull is in Great condition...the transom is very solid...the deck...well it used to have a cooler seat behind the console...someone replaced it with a single captains chair but didn't fill in the holes in the deck...so there is some bubbling  in the rear deck....but for $1,000...if the deck can last me 3 years...I will be happy to replace it then....I don't plan on ever selling this rig....I think it was a great deal for the hull....the only thing wrong is the bubble in the deck...

I will post pictures of the 115 etec on its butt in a few weeks...that is if I don't get banned from the site for buying a mako:):)...thanks guys for the nice words on her!

Looks like a nice boat - what is the beam on her?  Looks wider than my 170.
