Flag staff

The new canvas on my T-top looks great.  I have mounted most of the antennas I will need and i still couldn't find a commercially availble flagstaff/nav light mast that was robust enough to handle a flag at speed..  I gave up and visited my welder and had him weld a  section of aluminum pipe with a plate on top for my nav light and a fitting at the bottom with standard antenna thread.  It is mounted to a SS ratchet mount which aloows me to lower the mast when I put the 250 CCP on my covered lift.

Cost of the mast was a reasonable $43 including tax.

Thanks... I always fly the flag.  In addition, I have led's in the t-top that light it up at night...

Many new boats have no provision to fly a flag..   Maybe i should sell these!!!!

I did depart from the 1" on the fly rule from Chapman's.  This one is 30"

But, I bet no one will complain.
