Went Fishing in the Keys
« on: May 22, 2007, 10:40:29 PM »
Went fishing down in Marathon this last weekend.
Me and 4 of my buddies chartered a 43' Morgan called "Main Attraction"
We pulled in 30 Mahi and a Wahoo. Great day on the water.

We hit a big school of Mahi and our captian called over this other boat that wasn't having a very good day.  Huge boat. Absolutely amazing. Our captian said it was a $2M dollar boat! Privately owned. All of the back open deck area was 100% teak, including the floors.  I got a closer look at it back at the docks.

Uh, yeah, that's more like a $5MM boat... I think that may be a 65' Rybovich...

In fact, it looks a lot like this one for sale out of West Palm... only $3.4MM used:

Good stuff Mike.  I lived in Marathon for a while.  Next door neighbor was his son who is the captain of the Main Attraction II.  Those guys usually find fish.

We were wandering the docks in Key West one day and saw a yacht that had to be 200+ ft.  It had a small float plane on the front deck and a small sportfisher on the back deck.
