Does anyone know if the stringers on 1981 Express Fisherman o/b are glass with wood core, glass with foam core, or just solid glass.
Thanks

I just joined and saw no one replied. Aquasport stringers are foam wrapped in glass. Unlike most boats. Hope this helps

There's an up-side and a down-side to the AS foam filled stringer grid. They don't rot but over time the foam will fill with water and add a lot of weight to the hull.
