repower 1995 200 osprey

can i repower my 1995 200 Osprey with a new 150 mercury Pro  it wieighs 456 lbs   rating says 150 HP  but 1995 was different    Transom seems to be in good shape   has a 4 stroke 115 merc 2005 on it now looks like 80 lbs more of motor or am i stuck at the 115 for brand new motors

 So where are the scuppers now, I put 100# on my newer osprey with no difference at all , you might try the ole sand bag method, move the batteries etc…..

so i am usually with myself   no problems not even as much as a drop comes in   when i    have 4 people  on board total  it may get a little damp  never worried about it     wish i could tell where exactly the water line but you know its winter   i put 2 new batteries towards front   (made front deck compartment ) to run a trolling motor so not knowingly help with any problems    but just concerned about weight of 456 vs 359  i am in altitude   sometimes 8500    i am propping at 14 pitch now   just thought a 150 might help there a little mostly prop   BUT i don't want to be swamped either   thanks for replying  al sure helps
