First, if the 175 is set up like the larger Genmar hulls, water passes from the forward bilge via the pipe into the tank compartment and passes under the tank support. There it passes through the pipe into the rear bilge. The support platform in the tank coffin isn't very high above the hull so it can become blocked over time.Truth is we don't see a lot of Genmar era hulls being rebuilt. That's why you can't come across one here. Maybe they were built (sealed up) a little better than their Hialeah cousins or the earlier models are just more popular.I can't really say why.
