200 Osprey Console Insert?
« on: September 01, 2011, 01:05:31 PM »
Bare with me cause I have no idea the name of the item I believe I have to start looking for....

The console on my 2001 Osprey 200 has a plastic insert which encloses the two doors and provides a shelf within the top door.  Does anyone know:

A) What it is official called?
B) Who makes them?
C) Where to find one?

Thanks!

I know the module you are talking about, wess, looks like this one...

I'm guessing it was made by Paragon Plastics over in Cocoa, or Daytona Plastics.  I doubt Teak Isle, as the frame was vacu-formed, Teak Isle doesn't do that sort of thing...

You could also try "Innovative Products of Florida" they are located in St. Petersburg.  Gave them a ring, all you would need is the old part or take him the boat.

Thanks all!

Yes Bob - that is exactly the one I am speaking of.  Thanks for the company leads!

The insert shelf has broken and there are cracks all over where it meets the deck.

It was a very rough night and the designated driver decided to have tequila

Bringing this back up - I still need to replace the insert within the CC per Bob's picture.

I did speak with Kevin at Innovative Products and to quote him "We charge $75/hr and re-creating this piece could take upward of 25hours."

SO - anyone have another leads, thoughts, or companies to try?  Perhaps someone who recreated one with a new design?

Wes,
Both of these guys can make what you want from starboard, maybe you'd like to change the configuration?I would email them some pics and measurements to get a quote.Buck is in the keys and sea snell is in Lakeland.I have had some work done by Lee[sea snell] and my son had Buck reproduce the console and anchor locker doors on his classic mako. Both of these guys do good work. :salut:

This is an old post, but I am looking for the glove box for a 2002 Ospray 200.  Anyone know where I can find one?

your best bet is to have one fabricated.  Boat Outfitters does custom work.  Here’s a link to their custom glove box https://www.boatoutfitters.com/custom-boat-glove-box.  The link is for a custom box made of starboard, but if you want acrylic contact them.  I’m sure they can do that to.  Their stuff isn’t cheap, but it is high quality.  Customer service is good too.
