1979 AquaSport CCP with Cabin?!

Hey everyone I’m new to this forum and have been trying to do some research on a boat I plan on picking up this week. It’s a 1979 CCP 24feet but it has a cabin up front! Has anyone heard of this? I did some digging around this forum before I posted this and only found one thread about a 246 with a cabin but that thread was from 2007. Really hoping to find someone that knows what this thing is! Really appreciate it and excited to be apart of the community. Thank you ahead of the time

It's a CCC (Center Console Cabin).  They basically used the cap(and hull) for a 246 Family Fisherman and added a console.  If you look on the starboard side you can see where the controls would have mounted on the 246 Family Fisherman.  Same cap.

It think they were pretty rare.  I would venture to say that they were only produced a couple of years.  You don't see many of them.
