1989 250 CCP info and pics

Hey guys,

After a long time of looking I've only found 1 other 250 CCP like mine.

I have a closed transom and the boat is a 1989 with 1993 twin evinrude 175 HP 2 strokes.

Check it out let me know what you think.

Your CCP looks strangely familiar!!  Mine has a fabric T-Top compared to your glass top.  Otherwise very similar.

Well I havent logged in here since the early days of owning this boat, but i figured id check in. I have had this boat for 5 or 6 years now. from miami to virginia and now back to south FL. She has been good but is ready for an overhaul. I started the refresh on this boat in oct 2020 and im just completing it now in march 2021. look for my new thread soon. 1989/2021 250ccp ReelKnoty

I live in Hudson FL. I am going to look at a 1990 250CCP with a 2011 Suzuki 4 stroke (2011).  My main questions are how does this boat handle 2-4 seas?  I plan on going 20-50 miles offshore. I am particularly worried about posts I've read that say you will get wet in any swells over 2 feet.    I am retired and  can repair just about anything on that boat.  I would probably add a second gas tank.  Present owner says it has two very minor soft spots.  I thank you for any information you can give me.
