1997 246 Osprey Capacity plate
« on: June 28, 2018, 06:22:23 AM »
I looked around, but didn't have any luck.

Does anyone else out there have a 246 Osprey that wouldn't mind posting a picture of the capacity plate/sticker? I need to have another one made up for charters.

Thanks in advance!
Carl

1200 lbs. seems low for a 246/250 Osprey.  My 22-2CCP is 2000 and the 246CCP was 2250.  Several of my old catalogs have the 222 Osprey at 1200 lbs with a 25" transom.  It just seems like a 246/250 would be more than a 222.  Does not quite figure...  :scrHead:

While I was looking around the interwebs trying to find a picture of one for the 246 I noticed that too. Maybe the liner wight has something to do with it??? Not really sure either...

The picture that Capt. Bob posted is correct.  Mine is the same on my 245 Explorer.  As you can see what Bob posted is for the Osprey and Explorer.  It does seem low to me as well :?:
