Mystery Boat?
« on: November 02, 2006, 05:21:49 PM »
A friend of mine sent me a pic off of his cell phone (sorry for the quality) of this boat in S Tampa.  Can anyone identify it, or the owner?  Just curious who is working on their new project!

Sure looks like a '70's 170.

He says it was a 222... but I'm not sure about that.

I thought that 222 in the ad was a 196 so pix can be deceiving
It's a different year than mine - mine has the complete liner.

Look how it fit's that dual axle trailer. A 17ftr would look funky on a trailer that large.

My vote is 19.6 or a 222.

It has a lot of room behind the CC so I agree with Wart.

This looks to be an Aquasport 222  around a year 75 - 77, has the shape and bow area looks like the shape and the console looks the ones put on in the mid 70's  my 170 1976 has a similer one

From that angle it's hard to say... I retract the 170 guess and submit a 190 guess.  Wart's right about the trailer.

After studying it more it looks pretty long to me.  Looks nothing like my '78 222.  I have the full liner also.

My console is the same design - I have a different windshield though.
