bilge thru hull

Is there no other way to access the bilge thru hull on a 1988 Striper other  than drilling and installing a deck plate?

Yeah, unfortunately for future owners, parts are often installed before assembly of hull and liner.  It's much worse on newer boats.

Do you have a 170/175 or 200 Striper?  BTW your boat is an Osprey model with a Striper fishing option package.

And as mentioned some things on a boat are installed before the deck is placed on the boat.

Thanks for the info - that's what i thought as well. It is a 200 striper (yep - Osprey with fishing package) I think a 6" deck plate will give me enough room, 4" I don't think will allow enough room to work.
