What bow stainless pulpit to use?

Aquasport 250 CCP rebuild. Decided to install a lewmar 700 pro-fish free fall windlass on my rebuild,
Any and all advice would be appreciated. I definitely want a free fall windlass but need advice as to the anchor pulpit. Heard of issues with anchor hanging up with some pulpits, all comments are appreciated.

I have a factory bolt on pulpit but I had to modify it to accommodate the anchor I use. I started with a danforth type anchor - wrong type of anchor for the pulpit.

I really like the plow and it holds well in our type bottom.  The thing I didn't like about the pulpit was that the anchor line could get caught between the roller guide and the side of the pulpit and getting it released was tough to say the least.  What I did was add some strips of aluminum so there was no way the line could get out of the roller area.  Works great now.

If there is a down side to the windlass is the keeper that is supposed to keep the rode/line pressed down in the teeth of the windlass does not do a great job of that and the rode sometimes gets stuck between the keeper and the side of the windlass - usually when I'm retrieving from the cockpit instead of up in front.  Then I need to go up front and un-wedge it.  Maybe it's the 1/2" line I am using, dunno.
The keeper I am referring to is the metal finger that the yellow tag is around in this pic - it has a spring in the mechanism but still allows the rode to escape 


I also may add one more control switch at the rear of my boat to aid in anchoring when backing into a beach and dual anchoring.

only thing i can think of is misalignment that would cause it to come off making it overlap unless the spring tension is weak? but the gipsy should still feed it as its only around approx. 10 lbs of spring pressure so nothing crazy.
