Hi all, I am new to Classic Aquasport.com  . I found  a 1987 222 express fisherman and im very interested in buying. I was hoping someon could shed some light on this model as far as ride wet or dry .Does it have any common problems ,so on and so forth. Thanks in advance..

First, here's some specs.





The XF is built on the standard CCP hull fitted with the WAC cap. Weight is often given the same for both models but I'd think the cabin makes it slightly heavier. It will ride different also due to the weight distribution and side/forward driving position as opposed to the center console. Rugged hull with large stringers but like so many of the Aqua models, the hard chine makes for a wet ride in a beam sea. A full enclosure will help and was somewhat common with the XF style hulls. Transom and deck are subject to rot from poor bedding of attachments (as is any hull) and the fuel tank may be suspect at this age(assuming original).
