Awlgrip paint coverage

I have a 1975 246 ccc that I am getting ready to paint from the waterline up with awlgrip snow white topside. I am going to be using the roll and tip method and am having a hard time figuring out how much paint I am going to need for 2-3 coats. I've done some research on square footage but am getting slightly lost in the numbers. So I was wondering if anyone who has painted a 246 size boat could share how much paint they ended up using. From everything I've seen the 250 ccp is pretty close to the same size. I need to paint the inside too but I figure I'll have a good gauge for that after the outside is complete. Thanks.

If you roll and tip, you can expect that one gallon of paint combined with one gallon of catalyst mixed with the recommended thinner/solvent will give you about two coats on bottom and hull sides of a typical 24' boat.

So I'm thinking about spraying the awlgrip topcoat. Anyone with experience in spraying could you please let me know what type of spray gun I should use and nozzle size and all the other info I might need to know before going this route. Thanks

For a boat that size, you will use 2-3 quarts of color.  Your probably better off buying a gallon for the price.

Thank you for the response. I already have a gallon of the snow white with the brushing converter and reducer but I was thinking that it would be easier to spray the inside and everything else(console, T-top, outboard bracket). Now I know I'll have enough to roll and tip the outside and what I need for the other. Thanks again.
