On board battery charger??? Which type and output is best??

I am thinking about buying an onboard battery charger/ maintainer/ conditioner. I currently have only 2 batteries on my boat but may upgrade in the future. So I will buy one with at least 3 possibly 4 banks. So the question is which is best and what amp charger do I need?
