Sea Hunter Lay Out Question
« on: July 23, 2015, 02:44:41 PM »
Hi all,

I'm trying to get some clear idea of what the cabin interior looks like on the 240 Sea Hunter. Google's been no help, except for an archived article from the Jan 28, 1973 edition of the Connecticut Sunday Herald, which says "The '73 AS 240 SH...boasts an enclosed cuddy cabin with optional marine head and teak insert that fits between seat lockers to provide a king-sized bed or casting platform."

Can anybody help me understand how this whole thing worked? I have no idea on the interior of the cabin, or if this "teak insert" was paired with three cushions (from seat locker to seat locker) to create a sunbathing area just behind the teak door...?

Thanks you guys

Merkin

Hey there, RickK. Thanks for the link. That certainly ties things together for me.

Still interested to see what it looks like inside the cuddy, and I'm under the impression the toilet option came with choice of a holding tank or overboard flush. Just have to get my hands on one (hull, that is, not the toilet) to get a better understanding of the design.

Please do let me know if there's anyone in St Pete running a Sea Hunter with original design intact. I'd sure be interested to see it.

Cheers,

Merkin

Merkin,

You might try PMing our new member mdb6491

He may be able to supply you a pic or two of his forward cuddy. :ScrChin:

Lower pic probably doesn't help much.
