1975 222 rebuild in Jupiter
« on: June 17, 2015, 08:52:35 AM »
Hello, my name is Scott and I just bought this beauty from a friend who has been rebuilding it for the past 20 years.  It saw daylight for the first time last week.  He went all the way down to the stringers and built up from there.  As you can see she is not finished yet and he has moved on to other projects.  He said he would sell it to me if I promised to finish it correctly, so I jumped on it.  I got the trailer back in order with new lights, a winch, and new tires this past weekend.  I would like to get some suggestions on coating the deck and whether to buff out the original gelcoat or redo it.  I installed the new helm, wheel and shifter last night which is not pictured. There is no room in the deck for a live baitwell so I need an above deck solution also.  I look forward to your help!  Thanks, Scott.

Looking good - don't see too many inboards around.
