Thank you for replying back with your console location. My console is further back than I thought if I go by the latest information for the 1976 model. My console sits 64" from the transom. CallyB's flatback had the console 71" from the transom. Que Pasa's console is located 84" away from the transom.

Either way I need to move my console forward. I just don't know if I should go 6" forward or 22" like all of the original 22-2's. I think every bit of  foreward movement will have a large effect on boat balance, my hearing/ears (a 2-stroke 150 hp outboard at 40 mph is really loud), ect.

Can someone measure the dimension from the front of the console to the step up in he bow?

Also, does anyone have a preferred aftermarket deck hatch brand and hatch that uld use to replace my cracked and broken ones?

Thanks!

I have removed my console already, but the stains from the teak are still there. So I should be able to get you that measurement and mine was original no movement by anyone.
