Replacing Trailer Lines

Note: I did a complete trailer brake rebuild including lines; I did this because the old lines were cut ... LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN! The old lines were cut but the original owner and he left the lines in places so it can pass inspection.

I bought a stainless steel kit from a trailer supply house on line.

I replaced the axle lines which was pretty easy:


I reused the plastic holder of the distribution block:


Here is the hose to connect to the main line:


**TAPE The line nuts to the end other wise you won't find them.

I unraveled the line and pushed it up to the front:


Guide the line out of the tong and connect to the master cylinder:


I used a Progresso can of soup to roll the line:


Here is the finished line:


Bleed the lines and you are done.

To bleed I use a leaver to press the actuator and a heavy duty screw driver to push it back out.
