John, thank you very much! The best thing about CAS is making friends with great folks like you!
When I first joined my exuberance led to posting a lot. I had never been a member of an internet club and wasn't aware of terms like derail and thread-steal. Or even proper protocol. So a high percentage of those posts probably fell into those categories. But we did have a bunch of fun in the chum section, it was lively and entertaining.
On the plus side, there was some positive input. The Vendor forum was expanded, and there are some pretty good redneck recipes on Cafe Aquasport. And a professional rebuild was pretty thoroughly documented. I'd like to take this opportunity to formally recognize and profusely thank Captain Bob for the MANY hours spent in the construction of the "Miss Delmarva Rebuld, Low Cholesterol Version." I know how long it took, sorting through 135 pages to separate the beef from the hummus and mayo
Ah yes, "that Damn Aquanet". The Admiral feels that my time is better spent in a quiet family setting. Like watching reruns of the "Housewives of Slutsville" or "Super Soul Sunday" on the Okra Winfrey Network
Thanks again John! Already looking forward to Octoberfest!!

Good going, Scotty! I just did an informal investigation, and if you eliminate all the posts that involve chicken, you are left with 72. But they are good posts!

Another milestone achieved in your "aquanet" life
Thanks for all the help around here Scott
Seems just like yesterday when Scott was just starting to feel comfy in the cyber world; here is one of his early posts (see the second from last)

It's amazing how far you've come in so short a time

Got a great chuckle out of both responses
Rick, I thought CB was the one with the memory like an elephant! See, told you guys I could do the thread steal/derail....sometimes as a combo platter

CB has a better memory but sometimes he actually
lets
me remember things before he does or more likely, he is off line
We both spend a lot of time going through the older threads as we reorganize, more him than me, so it refreshes our (especially his) memory

Yes indeed.
An established cyber-social butterfly.
Still some things don't change and it's comforting to know we share a common trait that has lasted through the years
Some women (married or otherwise) don't seem to get it about men and boats but perk right up at the mention of the term "yacht".
