alright guys, i'm back......

I've recovered enough to finally go boating this weekend with
the wife. I've had a bad run since the end of august to October.
I've had three strokes in that time span, and obviously survived
all three. left with a little speech impediment and lost a little use
of the right arm, but going to therapy 3 times a week. and getting
stronger. Damn I'm only 52 years old!!!!!
now the good part.......I haven't touched the 196 osprey I own
with that '85 Johnson 140 on it in that time. I went out to start her up on
sunday, and she started without a hitch on the third try.
got clearance from the doctor to go boating. so this weekend I'm going to sands cut
and going to enjoy the sunshine, fishing, and the wife. maybe not in that order.
though I gotta tell ya, do you know how hard it is to try and line up a Phillips head
screw driver to a Phillips head screw when your arm has mind of it's own?

Sorry to hear about your health.

Sands Cut will be just what the doctor ordered. Trust the weather will cooperate. Post a pic or too for me. I miss the place very much.

I really like the new forum it's awesome.
ya'll did a great job. 
now I have to scrub down the boat with a
little soft scrub w/ bleach and clean her up
a little  before the weekend. she's a little
dirty and got some green on her.
