torsion axles

I've slowly been rebuilding my galvanized trailer (Aquasport 170) and have replaced the rusted cross members with 3 x 3 extruded aluminum ones. I've replaced the spider arm rollers with bunks (doubled 2 x 8 treated lumber capped with 3/4-inch King Starboard). Next up, I plan to ditch the rusted leaf springs and replace the standard axle with a torsion axle. I've found a couple of good sources online that are roughly $150 less expensive than local sources for the axle I need. Does Classic Aquasport have a preferred vendor for torsion axles, or one that offers members a discount? (I did a search of the site for "torsion axles" and it turned up nothing. That can't be right because I know that we used to have content on here before the revamp that mentioned the pros and cons of torsion axles vs. leaf springs.) Thanks in advance for some guidance on this.

OK,
Let's see what we got.
Here's a trailer vendor (from the Vendor forum)

I spoke with Cliff and he does torsion axles. Wouldn't hurt to call and mention the site. I'm not sure if you will get any special deal but it doesn't hurt to ask. he is located just outside of Ocala Florida.
Light reading from the Trailer forum.

If you buy online you must make sure they are marine. If not they won't last half the time before the cross member rusts through, etc. I know because, even though I bought a new torsion bar axle from a trailer place (and they did the work) I think they provided a non-marine version and in a few years it was shot, where as the oringinal one lasted 25+ years.
Ditto on what they said

Capt. Bob (and others), thanks for the information and links. I'll follow up and see if that source in Florida ends up as a good option. Price seems good. Yes, still hangin' my hat in Charleston.
