Awesome! I love labs.

My Black Lab mix is the same way with water bottles... all the toys imaginable, but toss her a water bottle and she goes nuts with it. :)

Give them an almost-empty plastic peanut butter jar and you've got a 20 minute show to watch!

We adopted her from the Humane Society.  They had a bunch of lab mix and a lot of them were grouped 3-4 in a cage, all from the same litter - very tempting since most looked like pure labs.  We looked around and "greeted/tested" (whatever you call the first "meeting") 2 different pups of different breeds (one a pig hunting breed from Louisiana - forget the breed name, but they looked cool (multi-colored)) and, since they only allowed 3 "visits with dogs" per our visit, my wife said "your turn".
I saw this little black dog alone in a cage/run and the data sheet said she was 5 mos old.  Seeing the size she was I knew she was almost the max height she'd be. With that thinking- 35ish lbs. I found out she is from Mississippi. I think where she came from was a "kill" state and down here we aren't.
