New guy here!! Looking for aquasport
« on: September 23, 2014, 10:45:00 PM »
Ok so I'm looking for an aquasport in the 20'cc foot range. I have seen some in my area but I really don't know what to look for when buying an older boat. But I love the lines of the osprey. I will search the forums but I need a starting point! Any help I plan on fishing for Atlantic salmon with down riggers and would entertain a 17 footer but a 20 footer would probably be better cuz the 17 footer will get crowded fast with gear and all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

I assume that was meant for me...   hello Brian, hello Slvrlng...been too long.

Brian,

I own a 20ft CC aquasport.  I can offer you two things.  I know the ins and outs of a 79 aquasport 19 6.  I would be happy to discuss them at length with you, no strings attached.

I also am considering selling mine, but wont push that unless you bring it up.  I offer help because others on this site were extremely helpful to me.

PM me or reply here if you want to chat.

here's a good link that might help, but you need to know what your preferred usage would be to determine style/model.

I am in CT.  Ironically I am from MI.  I was raised on panfish  and walleye, then i moved to new england and turned to a salt guy.

Search my name on this forum and you will see the upgrades I made and tons of pics of the guts pf the boat and the projects.

I am loading a few pics onto the photo gallery labeled imonna 1979 196.  Between those and what you can find on here, you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about my boat.
