I just purchased a 1987 290 Tournament Master which will need some TLC. First issue is leaking rudder stuffing boxes. Boat has been out of the water since October. Any chance stuffing may swell up and reduce the leak? From the looks of the stains in the hull it appears they were leaking before it went on the hill. Looking at the situation I may have to "cut" some hardware to get them loose. Any suggestions for a parts supply source in general for this boat and specifically parts for the rudder system.
