Thanks Capt. Bob!  Two pictures prior in thread showing damage done and last picture showing position of strap causing damage prior to my removal. Thanks for the support too! My current goal is to siphon tank, move tank back 1 cm or so and replace improved strap. My first problem is I can't get the siphon to work. (Hate working with gas!), second is the "laceration" in the tank a concern? Thanks for any replies.
