Lights located in bilge of 1999 215DC

Hi everyone,
There were 2 factory installed lights in the bilge of my boat. One was missing and the other was corroded beyond repair. Can anyone tell me what circuit powered these lights? I turned on all lighting circuits: Livewell, Cockpit, and Cabin. There was no power to either connector so I know I'll have to start working back through the harness to locate the problem. Knowing which circuit they are on will be a great help.
Thanks for all your assistance.

Check the courtesy light circuit if equipped.

Not gonna venture a guess b/c I wouldn't have anywhere NEAR the knowledge of some of our other members, but help the folks "in the know" here by finding out the color of the wires leading to the lights. Factory harnesses are color coded to the fuse box or switches which will enable you to determine which switch is supposed to operate the lights. After that, you rebuild/repair the faulty portions to fix the problem.

I had a 215DC and while mine worked OK I don't remember which switch turned them on. Before you go too far make sure all the circuit breakers are not tripped and working properly. If one light is shorted due to its condition it may of tripped the breaker, and that's why you have no power to the lights.

Just keep in mind ALL lighting wire in the factory harness is blue, some solid, some with striping. You might want to check your ACC switches, see if the bilge lights are powered off one of them. If the leads are part of the main accessory harness "positives" plug (9-pin square white Molex plug), turn on your ACC switches and check for voltage on the back side of the plug coming off the harness. The pins and sockets in those plugs corrode heavily, you may be losing contact within the plug itself...
