1969 FB Rebuild (with original look-through plexi)

As far as power goes, thinking minimum of 150 - possibly 175....would be interested in in feedback from anyone with a FB.  Obviously there is a price difference in the jump from 150 to 175 but performance is the key....sound off if you have some thoughts!

Seaforce IX is in Alex's backyard.....they really are a class act bunch of guys.  Down to earth and excellent craftsmanship.  They are in the process of building 20 46' aluminum boats for a South American customer so their glass guys have some downtime (which bodes well for my project).

There are pics of the transom extension in my photo gallery but I don't have any of the mold they used.  You'll notice in one pic they made a mold of the bow cap and used it to tie into the transom although we'll end up running a 12" transom cap/seat before it's all done.

Hey Bob,

I walked in there 4 years ago with that 245 Osprey that had the soft floor thinking, ahhh what the heck I'll ask for an estimate.  Well to rip the whole thing out and replace with 1" foam was beyond reasonable.  I have since had the 20 osprey transom done and this complete rebuild on my 222 CCP that I may pass down to my grand children :)!  I mean if anyone needs anything done around Palmetto they need to check them out I think.  From a awlgrip re-spray to new non-skid to complete rebuild.  Hope all is well with you.

I've gone through their site, they build (and restore) truly incredible boats!  Wonder if any of my old buddies from WC/AS are working there...or Yellowfin, for that matter...

We're in the stretch run for finishing the hull.  Seaforce (the re-builders) has been extremely busy with their "big boats" and hopefully we'll make a push to get her done by the end of the summer.

Getting closer on the '69 FB......I'm needing to make deck drain decisions.
