Nice rig!!! I think you might have a 191 bc the 196 wasn't produced until '71 or '72 but I could be wrong. I have a 19-1 I am going to rebuild also! I definitely want to see more pics!!!

Im also doing one and YES more boat porn........... :thumright:
Looks awesome.

Can you give some specs, is that a jack plate on the back? HP running, whats it draft at rest, did you raise the deck, deck measurements from the edge of the hull side to the deck, fuel tank size, mounting location (How far forward from the transom), materials for the transom and decking? Do you have trim tabs, does it plane easy, bow steer?

Sorry for all the questions, just nothing much here for info and I know of 2 being redone right now and Austin and I are both rebuilding one.

Have a Merc Para-Lift I got of Craigslist-Had to put a new trim motor on -Luv It
Runnin a Yammy 90 Took it off my 170 Pushes it good for what I need for now
I cut the old floor//sole left approx 2" lip & put new sole on top along with numorous new ribs to support sole & tower
Moved the the coffin as forwrd as possible, still runnin portibles for now havin tank made this week
Used the Honeycomb product( from Fiberlay} for sole & Coosa on full transom.
No trim tabs keep boat in water  pain in the _ss to keep clean
Boat planes out good for what I need;
We fish ALOT in Tampa Bay have been in some really skinny water for that  size boat
I have a Millwork company this was kinda a fillin project for the last year
It was "alot" of work
