36 oz cloth/roving I think...

Hello all...
someone is selling a bolt of 36" wide fiberglass cloth or roving (not sure what you'd call it) on Craigslist near me. They didn't know much about the cloth except that it was being sold from a motorcycle fabrication shop that went out of business. I went to look at it and weighed a 36"x36" pc and it was 35.7 oz.
I was hoping to use it to re-core all my deck hatches and use it for my transom re-build on my 22-2... is this cloth too heavy? Or is heavy good when it comes to deck hatches and transoms? They're asking $150 for the bolt, so it's not much $$$...
I took pics, but Im not sure how to post them with the new site software... so pics to follow. Any feedback would be helpful, thanks!!

I think you use roving where you need bulk and not strength. Hopefully Chris (dirtwheelsFL) or someone with more expertise pops in.
I used 24oz roven to quickly build up the transom liner I built but first I built it with 1708 as the base.

OK... I'm having trouble using pics in my post... I uploaded them to this site, but can't seem to find a way to get them to the post. I tried the "Attachments and other options" button, but can't get to my photos that I uploaded through there... The pics of the cloth can be seen in my photo gallery (clementsea), but I'd rather not make folks trying to help me make all the effort... HELP!

I found the help for posting pics... here's the cloth pics: the only image that would link up is the thumbnail, not the large image (got some sort of error message), but if you click on it, you see the large pic... whew!

Let's see what the error is - was it a timeout error? I copied the "Linked image" code:

A google image search for "Woven Roven" shows that it comes in many "looks":
https://www.google.com/search?site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1680&bih=939&q=woven+roven&oq=woven+roven&gs_l=img.3..0i10l4j0i5i10.4673.13895.0.15085.13.9.0.4.2.0.272.938.4j3j1.8.0.msedr...0...1ac.1.60.img..5.8.615.6WJLbBDkubM
The stuff I have has the wide woven on one side and mat on the other.

Im not sure what that stuff is. Looks like fire hose!
Maybe some type of super heavy S glass?
Did it have a cardboard box or anything with a label?
It would probably work but there are definitely better options....

No box, just a heavy duty plastic duffle bag.... I should probably pass on it. Once again, I'd be lost without you guys!!! Thanks!
BTW, Rick, the linked image worked just fine this time... not sure why it didn't the first try... thanks for your help.
