Dry weight 245 Tournament
« on: July 09, 2013, 09:32:52 AM »
Looking to see if anyone knows the dry weight for a 1998 245 Tournament CC with twin 150's? Looking to get some jack or lift stands to lift the boat off the trailer for painting.

Thanks in advance.

Here's a start.

It's with a single 200hp but you could back into the weight with a few gazintas.

Hard to read (for old eyes) but it appears to be about 4100# - 455# for the 200 + 800# (for the 2 ea. 150s) so...

4445# +/-. Knowing the correct model of 150 you have (obviously I don't) you could narrow it down a bit but jacks rated above 5000# would give you a little ( :| ) room for safety. Above that ( ) and you should feel comfortable.

Here's yet a little more reading on the stands themselves. Not cheap but good info/ideas

Good luck.
