1981 200CCP - Which Logo?

My 81 200CCP will be finished this weekend and the last step will be re-striping and new logos. I need help deciding on going with the newer logo or the style that is on the boat now. Has anyone used anything other than the classic AS logo? Thanks in advance for any input :salut:

It's just a matter of personal choice really. I replaced my 91 graphics with the early 80s style (from the House of Grafx). It is just one solid color (blue) with no outline. Still, if the newer font does it for you, go with that. There is also the option of a polished stainless type so the field's wide open. It's your baby and IMHO there's no heresy in changing fonts. Personally with your year boat, if you could find (good luck) the font with the fish hook (Lewis has this rarer factory font) that would really look good.

They don't teach cursive in schools anymore.  Although I have the same cursive logo on my boat, I am waiting for the day someone asked me what it says.  Just for that reason, I would go with the old style cursive.

I decided on the newer logo. I like the way it turned out and looks very clean.

I had the double stripes removed and replaced with a single stripe.
