I am thinking about closing in my transon on my 1981 222 and putting an armstrong bracket on. Has anyone done this? and if so how did it sit, any concerns?

With any modification the center of buoyancy needs to be considered. I have an Armstrong bracket on my boat and love it. I compensated by moving the fuel tank forward. The bracket is as follows; 30" setback, 30" wide floatation chamber, and 72" dive platform.
