Hello all,
Some of you are familiar with my current project, a restoration of a 1979 246 CCP named the Captain Koz II. (search my name "kaptainkoz" to read the full details of my plan). In order to do what I wanted to do to the 246, I had to dismantle and canabalize my 1978 200 CCP for parts and donor fiberglass (the 200 needed a ton of work as well, its not as evil as it sounds and is expained in the above mentioned search). With that, I wanted to do something lasting with some of the pieces of the 200 CCP which I loved and was an excellent boat with many great memories for the few years I had her. Below is a picture of my creation...
The ultimate man cave 200CCP memorial rod holder!
CCP owners will know the parts. The background is the actual port side of the hull, the teak are the original gunnel tops and the original rod holders. I love it and it think its a appropriate memorial for a great boat and her contributions to the in-progess 1979 246 CCP restoration.
