Thanks Capt, your right I didn't factor the motor in. We did a lot of work to her, all grip paint, teak gunwale railings, stainless steel hand railings, leaning post with 4 rod holders, radio w/speakers, had a t-top put on, new trailer and newer used 150hp Johnson outboard. I have a used 16mile radar I want to install but haven't yet. Shopping around for electric trim tabs now. Any tips would be awesome. She only holds 50gals which I wish she held more but I don't she has much room to upgrade. I love the way she handles with the Deep-V and can't wait to see the difference with the tabs. Probably gonna go with 9"/12"with the tabs unless anyone has some input to share on the matter.
I had a 222 cc deep vee with the bait well in the back also. When I didnt have mine plugged it would just fill up to the water line and then drain when I pulled the boat out of the water. I never paid too much attention to it until I realized how dirty it would get in there and start to smell a little that is when I decided to plug it. But it never sank to boat or even over flowed the tank.
