Speaking of what you would think of a more offshore type shark in close to the beach. This was caught on the 18th off the Navarre pier.

Front passed thru between 8:30 and 9:30, sideways rain that you could not see the road in front of the firetruck :pale: Couple of places with powerlines down, a few blown transformers, then wind sort of died down and just a little rain going on now, It hit my house about 9:40, wife said raining sideways there to...hope I still have a shelter over her(Therapy) in the morning :silent: She blew thru rather fast...hope you guys fair well also and safe travels to you both :thumright:

Quick OT

Some Carolina boys caught this and many others like it while chumming off Key West. The went around 5 lbs each. They want to know what kind of fish?

Thanks

Looks to be a Bermuda Chub. Nasty, pooping all over the boat, bait stealin suckers. Used to catch a lot of them out of the chum line while yellowtail fishing.

I agree. We just called them Chubs. Long ago, you'd see them on the patch reefs when spearfishing.
