Looking for a couple of items

Hi Guys, I am looking for a quality IPad charger for marine application
I would like a USB 2 plug system, any ideas?
Something flush mount would be great! I have bought a few but not quite what I want.
Also, looking for Speaker wires,

Would like a nice quality set as well.

I wasn't clear (something new)
I am looking for one like the blue sea dual charger in white.
I ordered one asked for white and then once received they said only black.

I will use it if I cant find a white one.
I know, picky,  picky !

The other item I am trying to find is a I phone, I pad charging cord that is coiled??

I bought a cheapie one off E bay a couple years ago.
Cant seem to find another one of any quality

You know what I REALLY prefer?  16GA tinned stranded just like I use to wire boats.  Speaker wire basically conducts a signal from the source to the speaker.  So you want the best conductor, free of any resistance...

I mean, unless you want absolute "purity" in sound, and I doubt you'll get that on an open CC...

I mean, unless you want absolute "purity" in sound, and I doubt you'll get that on an open CC...

Speaker wire size really makes no difference in sound quality until you get into very high power levels.  I've done side-by-side comparisions with power-hungry Bose 901s driven by a 400 watt RMS amplifier and there was no sound difference between the 16 gauge wire and the big 'ol Monster cables.  Most marine stereos are running less than 40 watts max - only a few watts program - and 16 gauge (or even 18) works fine for that application.  

Now the power supply to the amp is another matter - big amps need big power supplies.  For example, the power capacitors on that 400 watt amp were bigger than beer cans!     The heat sinks on the output transistors were about a foot long and had a cooling fan.  Once again, most marine stereos don't have amps that big, but I would recommend 14 gauge to the power lead - and keep the lead as short as you can.  If it's a long run on a higher power (40 watts and up), consider a 1-2 farad capacitor inline near the unit to help with transient loads.

CJ, are you talking about the 12VDC leads from the batt (or batt switch) to the amp?  I'm using 8GA on the Scarab for a 400 W Clarion amp, mounted the console, batts and switch located in the stern, about a 35' round trip.  Amp protected by a 50A breaker next to the batt switch...

I have (2) 200 W Clarions in the Maxima's trunk, feed those with 10GA...

I don't have an external amp
It is just a Kenwood KMR 700
and a pair of JL speakers
Nothing fancy, just a basic 2 speaker set up.
The head unit will go up in the overhead  electronic box
Speakers flush mounted in front of the rod holders about knee height.
I think it will be my best sound there?

"Sounds" good to me! (Pardon the pun...)

Surprisingly, a couple speakers around, say, fuel access pie height do a good job of filling the cockpit with good sound.  Just lake any install, home, car/truck, boat, whatever, the key to good sound is good speakers.   I particularly like Infinity Reference series (they are in the Max), very efficient, so not a lot of power needed to make them sound good...  

Although 200W driving the fronts, 200W driving the rears, they sound good LOUD too!!

The speakers are JL Audio MX 650?
Should be more than enough,
 just a little Jimmy?
Bob, I even thought about using the pie plates that are already there.
I hate more holes!!!
