Dave Burr (dburr) and Rob Gamble (fishnutz) for a couple of cool things that arrived in the mail the past couple days. From Dave, a 2013 calender from his employer, and I'd would say his passion, LifeFlight of Maine. Dave is a pilot for LifeFlight, and when we down here think of Bay Flight (Tampa area) and all the lives the dedicated men and women who are a part of the air rescue teams have saved, well, he is one person I really look up to! Thanks Dave, it will proudly be displayed in my "office"...you know, in the shop!
The next day an envelope arrives from Rob (fishnutz), most likely shivering his arse off up in Wisconsin, with a wonderful note and an Aquasport adhesive logo circa when I was building them! Brought a big smile to my face, as I could imagine just how many thousands of these logos used to sit in the stockroom at WC/AS waiting to be put on boats at the end of the line. And yes, Rob, you will have to drag your 170 up here for me to have a go at!
Just goes to show everyone what we all talk about, what we enjoy, what we are proud of...Aquasport owners. There is no better bunch of people, not just in the boating spectrum, but all across the walks of life! My hat is off to each and everyone of my fellow members, and, yes, I will have my 250 Osprey with twin 200 Optis one day, but right now, more important things to do...
