170 Restoration
« on: September 23, 2012, 08:23:52 PM »
I am needing information on what color my 1978 170 was originally.  I have sanded and Interprotected below the water line.  I want to keep my restoration as original as possible.  I think I want to use the same color above and below the water line.  Does anyone have some advice.

Troy, welcome aboard!

Your boat was a slight off-white. A light antique white.

Thanks for the offer, mine is in good shape but color is real faded.  Any pics of yours?  I would like to see!

I needs to be cleaned and buffed. There are some post's on here on how to refurbish the rub rail. I just don't need it. The shipping cost could be high b/c of weight. I have no idea. There are no end caps.
