Gasket for 215 electrical Panel
« on: June 21, 2012, 07:27:39 AM »
I have a 2002 Aquasport 215.  The fuse panel located down below behind the helm has a round access panel that is held in place by an "O" ring type gasket.  It has about a 5" diameter.  The gasket has deteriorated and the panel will not stay in.

I have tried to find a replacement but the marinas all say that it is a 'custom' gasket from Aquasport and is not available.  I don't buy that.  I'm sure it's just a standard gasket and they are too lazy to help me.

Any suggestions where I can get a replacement gasket?

Thanks

Is it An oring like goes around some of the pie plate hatches and pops in?  You could probably find one from a local hose and tube shop, Or online if you could measure it?

gcaldridge...was wondering if you resolved your issue?  If you still need some material I could send some to you...FYI..
