I been toying around for a while about pulling the trigger on a higher end roto molded cooler
At better then $600 for 120 qt I kept putting it off
I ran across this Coleman Esky 135 a couple weeks back at LFS
I have had it in the boat the last couple times out and I really like it.
It holds ice very well.
Not much ice had melted after 28 Hours .... 4 bags of ice and the temp yesterday at 89
Cutting board is a little flimsy but it worked just fine filleting some Salmon yesterday on the the run back to the launch
It has rubber feet and it stays put
I really like the overall dimensions. They are shorter and taller then any other cooler I have seen before
It takes up less space and it makes for a great seat.
I placed it in the center of my rear deck.
Now mind you it is not roto molded like the other higher priced coolers , but seeings how I don't have any hungry Grizzly bears to worry about when I am out in the boat
and at better then $200 less then the other brands, I went with the Colman Esky
