If it's not in neutral it won't click. If the lanyard is not in it won't click.

Lanyard is in and it's in neutral, after I get home in the morning I am going to be looking at the battery cable hook ups, I found a pic of the proper hook up and will check to see if I did it right....I will check to see if I can turn the motor over first with the plugs out to exclude it being seized up....will post findings after I get it sorted out or I shoot it :pirat:

Got home at 9AM, got on the boat at 9:30, was checking battery cables and found my ground cable had a loose end and a little corrosion in the end, cut it off installed a new end and heatshrink on it, reconnected it and 10 minutes later had it running  , The cable didnt feel that loose the other day, but I tugged on it a little harder this morning and found it was loose..
Thanks to all who responded, it gave me some great places to start looking, just happy it wasn't anything more involved :D
