Hey guys just picked this up, I've been looking for good while and couldn't pass this up because the price was too good. Ive cleaned everything I could, Im going to fish it this season in her current unattractive condition then start to rebuild over the winter. Looking forward to getting help from you guys.

Welcome aboard Roy!

And hey...I'm with Mark. she's pretty....and still curvy!

Actually...she's a hottie.

 Green windshield too :thumright:

When was she born :?:

Would guess '72-'75.

1972 is what the tittle says, by unattractive I mean she's got holes drilled everywhere, all over the console and in the cap, to mount what I have no Idea. She's got a lot of bad patch work on the cap that needs to be refinished and about a square foot of soft floor behind the seat, but the transom is strong and will make it at least another season. I think the 140 Johnson should be enough to push around what I assume to be a hull heavy with wet foam. All in all she looks pretty good to me. I can't wait to get down to Port Aransas. Ive probably looked at 10 Aquasport hulls and this is the best I've found, so I'm very pleased. Any of you guys down around Port Aransas or the Texas coast, these boats seem to have been very popular around here.

Looks like you have done your homework.

'72 is a very good year.

Don't worry about the patchwork...you now own one of the best semi-V hulls ever made :thumright:

Congrats and welcome!

Welcome aboard Roy - your boat looks quite usable and after you take her out you'll see that t the 170 is one of the nice boats for inshore that you can find.  Great boat to handle by yourself too.

As for posting pictures, try reading this http://www.classicaquasport.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=111, scoll down until you find the pictorial.

Congrats from over on Galveston Bay!  Very nice looking boat. Was that boat on Craigslist a couple weeks back?  I had called and called, but got no return call....regardless, great catch and welcome to the family.
