Stainless Phillips Truss Head Screws
« on: April 09, 2012, 09:52:57 PM »
I need a handful of #8 Stainless Truss Head Phillips screws to mount my new fishing rod box insert. I found them online in quantities of 100. If anyone has a few to spare I'll send you a couple hand tied bucktails as payment

What do you figure, mulv, around 10?  Let me dig through my stash.

BTW, I HATE truss heads!!  Especially #8s.  Thicker glass, you can twist the heads off in a heartbeat! :x  :x

mulv,
I've got a dozen, brand new, one small issue...they're 2" screws.  You can cut them down.  Yours if you want them...

And I'm sure Ace is cheaper!  To give you an example I did some repair work... well ok repair work turned into making new enclosures for my hard top.  I was missing three or four windshield snaps.  Rather than order just a few I went by Worst marine to see what they had.  They were $11.99 for a package of four.  So three dollars per snap!     I placed an order with my supplier and even ad the per unit price they were $0.30 each!  That is a 900% mark up!
