Dang I am glad Mrs. Cheezgrits works for an insurance company!
Running out in Lake Lanier yesterday the water has come up a lot. Well maybe not quite enough.
Submerged island I didn't know was there, next thing I know BAM! Water starts pouring in over the transom and as I look back there is a 1/2" crack running from the motor up towards the console. Water starts shooting up through the crack in the deck and I drive to shore and run it up on the rocks.
Its toast!
Dammit man!

Not sure whats going to happen yet. Tow boat US is supposed to get it off the rocks this morning and get it back to the ramp, but I don't know if it will float.
