Couple of possible addition questions
« on: March 10, 2012, 10:58:57 AM »
Hi guys, I have a couple of questions.

I have a 95 Osprey 24.5 (or I think some say 25)?

Where have you guys added cup holders?
I have thought about a couple on the top of the console?
(countersunk style)

Also, second question.
I was at the Fred Hall Boat Show in Long Beach and  found  a "Rig Rite Automatic Livewell Timer"
What is the opinion of the timer?

Thanks much as always
I appreciate it

Bryan

Bryan,

That pump thing intrigued me.  I went to Amazon and they had a few reviews, and they were pretty bloody.  You may want to wrap up in a shower curtain before you read them.

But I think it may be a case of great concept, poor execution.

As far as cupholders on the boat, I don't use them, in that the George Dickel bottle won't fit... not even the pint bottle.

Yeah, I was worried about the issues of the device.
Too funny, maybe a coke can shaped flask would work?
I keep going back and forth about some cup holders.
I do not like cutting holes in the boat at all
Also, I dont like the fold out or gimble mount cup holders
Just looking for answers

Thanks much

Bryan

Hey Brian,
Here are some ideas for cup holders that dont need any holes drilled...

saw these at the Miami boat show, pretty nice, you just need to measure the diameter of the pipe you wanted to mount it on
clamps on,no holes drilled...

this guy makes some nice stuff too,I got a combo drink/binoc holder that is held on with suction cups,he also has some other stuff and will custom build as well..

The Albies (in a average year) show up off Baja in May or so,
about June here off So CA.
Last few years not so good.
This year all signs are looking good.
White Sea Bass should be any week now!
My AS is rigged with 15 ft outriggers.
I have the Taco telescopic outriggers
Striker bases
they works really well!

Well, I got with Cuda, a real good guy.
He really went above and beyond what he could have done.
I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
He didn’t have the diameter I needed.  My T Top is custom and large diameter stainless
He came up with some items for me; I bought four tota,l 2 cup holders (bolt on)
And 2 little tackle stations (for jigs, lures etc)
He sent the package in record time and included a hand written note and a measuring device,
Just to double check my measurements

Thanks for the heads up on him.

Now if only the Sea Bass Season would start!
