whats the best way to mount it on the bow and keep my bow rail?

1.  Leave it down all the time.
2.  Leave it up all the time.
3.  Remove the bow rail prior to use.
4.  Cut a gap in the rail so the motor can deploy.
5.  Use a quick-release mount and take the motor off, move it to the down position, guide it under the rail, and remount it each time you use it.

Or, as Festus used to say on Gunsmoke:  "Cain't be did!"
